My I140 was approved for CP but later on I filed for AOS. My lawyer had sent a letter to NVC also about this. I haven't yet received the FP notice although people who filed after me have got it. I called the automated NVC line which said that they have information about my intent to adjust status. It also said that "they will hold this information until INS requests it from them"
Does this mean that INS hasn't requested it from them yet ? Is that the reason for the FP delay? Is there something more that I need to do ?
