Problems for long-term oversea assignment on H1B

I joined my current company (an offshore company at Houston) from last September and my employer filed H1B application for me and got approved. From this october as My H1B becomes effective, I will go to Singapore as our company's representative for a project and I may stay there most time for the next three years. Meanwhile I am allowed to come back to US for one week vacation every 6 working weeks. My payroll will still be at Houston headquarter.

I have asked the immigration attorney of my company if there any problems, and they said it is no problem for doing this if I do not stay outside for more than one year per time (I will come back every 6 weeks so there is no problem for this requirement). But when I did some studies online, there is one saying that if you work at another site which is not listed in your LCA form, you will get trouble. Therefore I am quite confused about it. Therefore, I wonder if anyone here know this. Thank you very much.
