Problem With My Sevis

I am owing my school $310, and I was told that if I don't pay the money by July 15. I will be terminated from the sevis database. My green card interview date as be set to July 22nd.

Will the sevis database have any effect on my interview?

Please give me any advice you think can help me.

If I were you, I would Pay 310 dollars to avoid further troubles in GC processing. Your GC interview is upcoming and you do not want to put yourself in a position where a sevis problem could become a big problem and you will have to pay much more money to immigration attorney to fix that problem. Most of the time, it is better to fix the problem at its intial stage. I am pretty sure that USCIS officer can get access to sevis data base.

If you owe the money, you should pay it regardless whether it would affect you GC or not. Is that simple?
