Problem with goods to follow list

Friends,

I had landed about 2 1/2 yrs back. Now I am moving there permanently to Canada in 3 weeks time.

Even though I had owned furnitures like sofa, chairs, queen bed etc before landing. I did not include them in the goods to follow list. I also bought a king bed set after landing about 2 yrs back. I had primarly focussed on the electronic items in the list.

Now I am planning on taking all the things. Will I be subject to customs duty? Is there any way out? How much is the customs duty?

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Technically, YES, your goods not declared before are subject to the customs duty. But normally, if the goods are personal items and if they are used, then custom agents are not too fussy about it and let you pass without charging anything. This is my experience (long time ago). But if the good are new and if they clearly look new, then they might charge. (I think it is 7% GST plus 7or 8% PST in Ontario).
