problem with finger printing

Hi All:
I am more than half way through of my GC process. My medical was done and I needed to get my fingerprinting done. So I went to the local police head quarters and got it done. I sent it for verification to FBI. It took me a month to get it back. But the problem was that, they rejected the prints because of the poor quality. My deadline for the submittal was after 20 days from then. It was not possible to get the fingerprinting verification done and send it to CIC within that time frame. So I sent the letter to CIC telling the story! with the remaining documents. I again got my fingerprinting done and sent it to FBI. Now today after more than 3 weeks I got it back but with the same rejection because of the poor quality.

Does anyone have this type of experience?
Can anybody tell me what happens if the time for submittal is missed?

I had the same problem...in my case too, third time again I got the fingerprinting done along with the letter from the officer that thats the best finger print they can get for me....also i got no criminal record letter from the county....
I send all these with the letter explaining that this was the third time...also i send all the old cards along with....to my surprise FBI not only approved my third fingerprint but the previous also...so i think FBI tries to get clear fingerprint...however for some people because of the nature of their hands...its only this clear you can get...

What abt the timeline

Hi during this process, did you miss timeline?
B'cos I have already passed my timeline. and now this third time I have to again wait for at least 3 times. I wonder whether I should write to the CIC abt this incidence again OR wait for this third report to come?
 
no i didnt miss the deadline. first 2 attempts i got it done myself for i knew they will be requesting it. the validity of the finger print is only 1 year. so when they requested i took the letter and everything and send 3rdtime.
