I am ready to apply for 485 but will be getting married in May outside the country. Since my fiance is in F1 right now , I was told he will need to have a parole visa to get back into the country after we get married. So we decided to have a civil marriage in the US by the end of Feb and file jointly by the beginning of March.
Will we have enough time to get the parole visa (in about 6 weeks from filing), or should we wait to file for 485 till we come back in May end? Is there any other way we can do this....Would greatly appreciate any help...!!
