problem with consular processing (sending the first documents to KCC)

Hello,

Since I am waiting for my J1 waiver document, I haven't sent the first documents to KCC yet. Because, most people say that green card process effects J1 waiver process negatively.

My question is:

My case number is 20xxx. It will be current in January. I know that filing process at KCC takes 2-3 months. So, if I send the documents (DS-122 and 230) to KCC in December will I lose my green card chance, or will I get a delayed appointment only?

This is very important and I appreciate your answers in advance. Thank you
Mike

thanks for your reply.

my dv application will not be harm, but my waiver application will be harmed because of my dv application. when DOS learn that i intend to immigrate, they rethink my waiver application. it extend the process, and i have a chance not to get my waive document before my interview date which is very very bad for me

any other advices for me? thanks

here is my question again:

y u taking so much of time ??dont delay to sent the documents...if they accept ur documents for further processing no one can compete
your visa number dont worry about that...

its very difficult to predict .....but according to the past years trend your case will become current between march- april ...in other point is.. if u have the opportunity to go usa earlier(other than dv)you can change your status(CP TO AOS)with out any difficult...
