Problem with 485 if I got promoted?

I was a "Programmer Analyst" at the time I applied for my LC and 485. The job title on LC is "Programmer Analyst". Now I got promoted to "Senior Programmer Analyst" by my company, but I am in the same department and doing the same thing. I wonder whther I will get into trouble if I got an employment RFE from BCIS in the future? Any one has the same experiences?

I was in the same situation. My company didnt even change anything on my 485 application. They suggested to me that it's better that I dont have my title changed on the papers now.

Absolutely fine... Basically, it's the same title.. I had the same question for "Software Engineer" promoted to "Sr. Software Engineer". As per my lawyer, it's fine. Need not have to worry ...

Do you mean your comapany didn't change your title on your comapnay's record? How does that work? After promotion, my salary is supposed to be increased, my manager has to change my title through HR in order to get payroll update my salary.

did you ask your lawyer in case you get a RFE for employment, should you put "Software Engineer" or "Sr. Software Engineer" in the response?
