i have a friend who came to the US one month age. his employer was suppose to pay him on dec. 15th. however, they forced him to sign a contract in order to get paid. also, they did not pay hime by check nor did they give him a paystub, they gave him cash.
1) Can they do that, is it legal to pay in cash and not give check and paystub?
2) if he complains to DOL, can he try to get a new employer and transfer his H-1 w/o paystubs?
3) can they terminate him for complaining to DO?
