Problem in fingerprints/biometrics?

My wife and myself got our biometrics done on oct 13th. My status message got updated on oct 18th that USCIS received the fingerprints and process will resume. However my wife's status is still not updated.
Which of the following does that imply:

1) There was a problem in the fingerprints and they might ask her to take the biometrics again.
2) USCIS sometimes takes a long time to do data entry and maybe the message will change after 2 weeks.
3) FBI found a possible problem/match etc and so now she is stuck in FBI check

Is there anyone else whose status (LUD) has not been updated after doing biometrics or whose status was updated after a long time?

That's exactly what happened to my wife, too. Her status did not change, whereas mine did. I called both CIS and FBI and found out that her FP were not of an acceptable quality and were returned by FBI.
Just call them and you will know.

Thanks Gpng_dl
Did your wife's AP or EAD approvals get delayed because of this?

Did they reschedule her for the next available date for biometrics then? Or did she have to wait till they send another bimetrics appt letter?

She did not apply for either one.

They promised to reshedule as soon as possible and told me to wait for the second notice with the appointment date. No chance to go by ourselves using an old notice, or scheduling appointment by phone, or online. Now it's already 2 month since our first FP appointment, and about a month since I discovered what happened and started to make calls. No news yet.
She did not have any cuts or wounds, or other skin damages. I was also told that she has to try 3 times, if her FP are not good again. Then, we have to obtain police clearance for the past 5 years showing that she has no records. That's how things work, and it sux to have such a separation. We are talking about at least few extra months before she can accomplish her FP check :( .

Biometrics LUD changed but status not updated

I and my wife had the figerprint done on oct 19. The LUD changed twice on 19th oct and 20th oct for both of us. But the status did not change. How many days does it take to change the status.

I was in the same boat a couple of weeks back. The LUD changed within 24 hours following the fingerprinting, but no status change. It took about 5 days for the status to change to the "USCIS had received the fingerprints and that processing was resumed" type message. I saw that yesterday 10/21, my LUD changed again but with no status change, so I'm thinking or hoping rather that it may be that my name check is completed indicated LUD change, as the name check is all I have left before a final decision can be made due to not affected by retrogression.
