problem about I485

My I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was submited on June.I check information only from the websit of Immigration Services.It told me that I still need to wait 500 or 600 days for process this case.But my friend submited this application at some time with me, they have already completed fingerprint.I have no idea about my case. Is that normal about my case?

I am very worry about that. why did my friend so fast get fingerprint.We submited application at same time.The immigrantion service hasn`t requested something with my application yet. I got information that just waiting for 500-600 days from the website of immigrantion service.
 
Did both of you apply for the same things and are based in the same thing? for example what is your case based and your friend's?

we are the same thing. We are came to U.S.A at same day. Also we submited the application at same time.But he did it by himself.I did it by lawyer.But the application is same. Is it possible that problem from the lawyer?
 
There is no logic behind how the USCIS operates and processes cases. Seriously, it's like the lottery, some people win and some don't, regardless if a lawyer buys the lottery ticket or if you buy it yourself.
 
Your application IS different from your friend's simply because you have different name. Yours might take longer time to go through the name check and other security checks. Do not worry, your time will come.
