Priority Date

The priority date on my husband's I 140 approval notice says "January 17,2001".

We filed concurrently in Oct '02 using a LC that was approved a while back for one of his colleagues.

Does the Jan '01 priority date mean anything given that INS is currently processing Oct '01 cases.

I dont think the Priority date really means anything.. Priority date was when your Labor was filed..

It is the ND that makes more sense... my priority date on the I-140 said Nov 1998... and the I-140 got approved only last week.. just go by the Notice date or receipt date...
