Priority Date

I have a question about Priority dates on the receipt.

I am a new member of this site. I applied my 140 on July first and before it got approved I applied my 485 (concurrent filing) on Aug 30(send the packet by mail on 30th). I got the reciepts yesterday 9/20.
BUT i do not have any prriority Date on the reciept. It is blank.
Should I have one priority Date. What does that signify.
Reciept Date:- 9/03

Please suggest.Thanks

Your I-140 approval would have your priority date (the date your initial labor application was received by state/regional labor office). However since priority dates for all EB categories are current, its doesn't really matter these days (till they regress). I-485 receipts hence (I suppose) don't have the original priority dates marked on them. Mine doesn't, and several people have said the same in various threads.
