Priority Date

By clicking the link here You'll see the last "update" for Milwaukee Office was posted on Jan. 24 and it says the DO is currently processing Applicantion (N400) w/ priority date on Aug. 22..... Well, this "update" is too old. Why? My priority date was Sept. 13 and my oath was YESTERDAY. Case closed.

Don't trust too much on these "Updates" saying "Now Processing cases..." because you might be nearing the end!

You are right, the dates don't have much connection to reality. Sometimes I think they just take dice to come up with some date

that is true, but also, i think they purposely post the processing date which does not related with the actual case processing time. it is because they would want to build up some "buffer" time for themself rather than having lot of calls to complain etc.
