I have an approved labor, If I go for CP (EB2).
Is my priority date same as PD on my labor or will it be my I-140 RD.

PD will be from Labor Cert, not from I-140

your PD will be the PD on your Labor cert, not the i-140 receipt date.

Thanks J1 victim
It feels like I can get my Cp done in 12 to 15 month.
I wanted to ask you ,
1.I dont like my current attorney but I have already signed contract with my attorney. If I break with my attorney now, do I have to pay them the whole amount I agreed with them($2500 remaining).
2. I also feel like I can do the whole process myself with my employers help.
If I file my own CP do I have to execute a G-28, I know G-28s are for attorney but if I dont file a G28 than all my self filing notices will go to my old attorneys which wont be good

filing CP yourself

yes it can be done. this whole time duration mainly depends on I-140 processing time. the time that CP takes AFTER I-140 approval is average 4 months. So if your I-140 gets approved in 2 months (yes there are ppl whose I-140 was approved in 1 month), then your time for GC will be 2+4=6 months via CP.

* 1.I dont like my current attorney but I have already signed contract with my attorney. If I break with my attorney now, do I have to pay them the whole amount I agreed with them($2500 remaining).

>>> depends on what your retainer agreement with the attorney says. Read it again and again .. it will tell you.

* 2. I also feel like I can do the whole process myself with my employers help.
>>> yes, possible.
only problem is:
I believe, you still haven't filed your I-140. When you file employer sponsored I-140, you need to attach employer's Federal Tax return (if employer has <100 employees). Many employers are not willing to give that information to you, rather they would give it to the attorney. so you might get stuck there. Ask your employer about it before u fire ur attorney.

* If I file my own CP do I have to execute a G-28, I know G-28s are for attorney but if I dont file a G28 than all my self filing notices will go to my old attorneys which wont be good

>>> you don't need to file a G-28 if you wanna do it yourself.
But, i don't get you here.... why do you say ."all my self filing notices will go to my old attorneys which wont be good". have you filed any petition with USCIS? (your labor cert doesn't count).
.

right now, i am going th' the same process. u may email me at j1victim at yahoo dot com
