priority date

Hi I applied for 485 and 140 on 02/05/2004
I got FP notification last week ( approxmately in
1/1/2 months)
I am curious how come I got it so soon where as
others are waiting for a long time
Does I-140 and 485 consider priority date
as the date when EDD receives LC application? My LC
was applied in Oct 2001
Any inputs welcome

I am sure this is not becuase of PD. its your pure luck......and some good work u done in ur life.......

no dought ppl are in pain and still some 2001 fillers are waiting for FP..... many 2002.... ppl too.

would u share why LC took so long.

btw everyone have similar stories...... some god one step quikly like I have seen ppl who applied LC+140 approved in 1999 ( can u believe) and just got approved in 2004 long 6-7 years..

some ppl filled 2001 and after quick FP ..... they wait...wait.... even 2nd and few .. even 3rd FP..........

so this is cake...... doesn't matter how u slice....

I have seen ppl who wait very long wait painfully for LC and got quick qpproval......
