Priority Date

I filed my 485/765/131 in february 2nd week, I got the receipts but I do not see a Priority date on it. I started my GC process in Feb 2001. My question does priority date matter in the current scenario of processing?

No, it does not. Priority date decides when you can apply for AOS, once you have applied for AOS, it does not have any relavance.

So how does this Priority date works? When will a case gets assigned a PD, is it the date when the actual process begins i.e applying for Labor or is it somethine else?
