Priority Date Vs. Receipt Date?

Anyone in a similar situation?!
I am getting completely confused by all the dates.

Details are as follows:
Applied concurrently for I-140 & I-485 (under EB1 category, no LC required). Received Notice of Action (form I-797) for both forms with the following dates:

Received Date: Nov 7 2002
Priority Date: Blank
Notice Date: Dec 2 2002

My I-140 was approved in June and I received a Notice of Action with the following dates for the I-140 approval:

Receipt Date: Dec 2 2002
Priority Date: Nov 7 2002
Notice Date: Jun 2003

My online case status for I-485 says they received it on Dec 2 2002. I have no idea about the priority date. Although I went for fingerprinting in January 2003, my case status has remain unchanged since day 1.

Any idea what's going on?

Priority Date was used when there weren't enough Visa numbers to make u eligible to apply for I485. Nowadays as visa numbers are immediately avai PD doesn't matter.
