Priority Date Retrogression ??

Hi everybody,
I am just fed-up with this retrogression and I am wondering if anybody knows what is the date on which INS releases the new data for that month. I mean when would we know that what will be the priority date for the month of June/july.
Also, I was wondering on something I saw on Rupnet.com. Everybody is saying that there will be a further retrogression as INS starts clearing more backlogs and consumes more visa numbers. Now, what I saw from rupnet is that the number of applicants for 485 is substantially low in 2003 and 2004 compared to that of 2001 and 2002. So, I think once 2002 applicants have been taken care of we should be OK with Visa numbers for 2003 and 2004 applicants. What do you guys have to say ???

Just visit this site

http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

their u can find the current and archived bulletin ... DOS announces the cut off date for next month roughly 15 days in advance so for july cut off date it should be announced by 15th june .

so go through the above URL and u will be all set .

Rupnet data is just a sample and u cannot make out the real no of applicants for any year or month ... long back a user RSUR ( if i remember it correctly ) used to post the XL sheet which used to show the no of 485 applied every month ... i think its RSUR ...but i may be wrong ... if u search the archive u may be able to find that xlsheet ... i think now he is approved so he doesnot post any more update on monthly basis but from the archive u should get good idea of the 2003 and 2004 .

Good luck ... this retro is killing softly everyone of us .

Corrrect, I doubt many nurses post on rupnet. They are eating up most of the EB3 visa numbers these days. And to make matters worse, most of them are from India than any other country.
