Priority date..pls confirm

Hi everyone! I'm a bit confused with the priority date. I was applied for an immigrant petition last year. Here are the details:

Received date: August 17, 2007
Notice Date: October 20, 2007

My question is..is the priority date the same with received date? Please clear me up with this confusion. Thank you!

Your priority date is the day when the Labor certification was filed. For EB1 category it is the date when the I-140 was filed. In both cases the receipt date of acknowledgment will be considered.
