I have a question about the priority date of NIW. I got my NIW I140 approval notice today. I found the receiving date was March 22 and the priority date was May 22. I thought that the priority date and receiving date of I140 should be the same for NIW. I checked the USCIV website and found this "The priority date of a preference visa applicant under INA 203 (a) or (b) shall be the filing date of the approved petition that accorded preference status." (from Sec. 42. 53 Priority date of individual applicants.) It seems USCIS made a mistake on my case. Can I call them to correct it? Did anyone have this experience before?
