Priority Date moving faster than RIR labor approval?

Hi, folks. I have followed this forum for a while and have enjoyed the comraderie and the sharing of knowledge and insights by the members. I have a question I hope someone can shed some light on.

Well, I am Chinese with EB2 RIR filed in early 2005. I was told by the Philly backlog center that they are working on 2001 cases now, which makes me a bit concerned that the labor approval may come after the priority date becomes current (and that would suck big time). So what's the chance of that happening (10%, 20%, 30% or ??? )? I am sure hard to say would be the logical answer but any educated guesses are welcome at this point.

The situation is particularly difficult because the job I have is very stressful (lots of night and weekend overtime), so I am not sure how long I will keep doing it.

Get another job .........

If u r so much fed up I would say go for anotehr job and get the PERM files asap much faster than the current headaches ...

The pay is good -- since I am the only bread earner in the family, I do need the job. I need to make sure PERM will make a practical difference -- if I am going to be waiting in retrogression anyways, I don't really care if I get my LC a bit later (as long as before the PD becomes current). If I get a different job, I will lose 1 year on my retrogression waiting period.
