Guru's need your advice and your experience:

My GC milestone dates are:
LCA approved in May 2003 for EB3(india)
I140 filed on 7/2003 and Approved on 12/2003
I485 filed on 8/2003, still waiting for Approval.

Lately, I observed following from my receipts;

- I140, I485, I765 (EAD) Receipt Notices has priority date blank.
- But I140 Approval notice has priority date, which is my labor filing date:10/2001

In my finger printing notice, I have priority date same as receipt date (8/2003), which is my concern. When I called NSC customer service, they didn't even know how priority date works.

During my first call, Customer rep (good one) in turn called Employment based adjudicators department supervisor, confirmed that it's established based on LCA filing date. She told me to send an enquiry to update wrong priority date and everything else looks ok. I repeatedly asked about Name Check results ,but she keep saying it's internal only info that she's is not allowed to disclose (but she said my application looks ok for adjudication)

Next day, LUD's changed in primary and dependent application, which made me restless.

To make sure, I called NSC Customer service again, he (not so nice) didn't even know how this priority date works and repeatedly argued that it cannot be prior to receipt date. Fortunately he confirmed that LUD change is due to address change. Finally he said you are calling customer service line meant for approved applications.

I spoke to my attorneys about it and they are not buying in on wrong priority date. They say it's quite normal. But I have told them to send an enquiry, anyway. Finally attorneys confirmed they initiated enquiry (I believe them).

My assumption is the priority date in fingerprinting notice is not an issue.

Last LUD change may not be related to address change, as they send me a letter confirming address change month ago. Customer rep would have picked last message update.

Did any of you see priority date same as receipt date in your finger printing notice, if so please share your experience. I have seen some posting about it in CSC forum.

Thanks

Yeah -- don't worry about the PD on the FP notice ...
The correct PD is the one on your 140 approval.
