Priority date ... Gurus...???

I am confused -- my I-485 notice doesn't have a PD typed on it -- my labor PD is Feb 2003 -- and on my FP notice my PD is my I-140 application date --Aug 2003.
Any gurus out there to help me understand this????

PD is the date mentioned on your labor certification application. I don't know if there is a PD on the FP notice, I've not paid attention to that. However, from what I've heard, the PD to take into account is the one on the labor cert.
