Priority Date Change on FP notice?

Please check your Priority Date on your FP notice date to see if

it is the same on your I-140 notice. My priority date on I-140 is

october 2000, but my FP notice show another priority date as of

April 2002, which is my I-485 reciep date. I am confused by this

and wonder if it will dalay I-485 processing.

Is the priority date on FP notice is different from the priority

date? Do I need to contact BCIS?

No Priority date on I-485

I have no Priority date on my I-485 receipt. That's why my FP

notice use I-485 RD as priority date. Does it matter or not in

processing I-485?

As much as I know, it(incorrect PD in 485 receipt/FP notice/I140 Receipt etc..) does n't really matter. A# is what is more critical. To the extent your A# is the same in all docs, you are set and safe.

Another question: Some people went to fingerprint earlier than

the appointed date and APC let them done. Is it true? If so I may

go to have my FP done before the appointed date and thus save

time.

You can walk in and take the fingerprints. Most of the Application Support Centers will allow it.
