Prior Finger printing for other reason

I know people who pursue high profile DoD (or similar) jobs have to go thru' security clearance (and possibly finger printing.) Assuming some of those jobs didn't have Citizenship requirements and if a person on GC has gone thru' finger printing already for clearance purpose, would it expedite his/her Citizenship process (by way to expediting atleast the FP process)? How do you go about expediting it?

As far as I know it wont affect. Secondly, most of the clearances require you to be a US citizen. But the clearance FP's are not related to reducing the timeline of Naturalization. It may help in clearing the FP's soon but that wont affect the total timeline
