Primary I485 Approved, Derivative Still Pending.

Primary applicant's I485 was approved on Aug 16th 2004, derivative still pending. Sent fax to USCIC & email to FBI in last week of Oct 2004, but no reply so far. Derivative I485 was filed after exactly 3 months from primary. Please let me know if anyone is in same situation, or anyone whose derivative approved after primary. also let me know if anyone has answers for questions below.

(a) is retrogession is going to affect derivative approvals even primary already approved?
(b) what will be the Priority date for derivative applicants? is it LC of primary or I485 ND of derivative?
(c) just waiting until USCIC approves is the only option or still something can be done for derivate approval(i already tried emails, Phones to USCIC).

Any help or info will be appreciated.

Derivative :
I485 ND : 09/2003
1 FP : 09/2004
LUD changed : 09/15/04 to 9/27/04 on each working day that FP received and processing resumed.
I485 AD : ???
 
Mine, being the primary, got approved in sep. and derivative applicants received their approvals this week exactly two months after mine.

Mine was approved on 11th Of Nov. Waiting for Derivative. I dont know how derivative process can be expedited.
 
Thanks for the information, looks like there are many cases similar to us, let us wait and see if some one has any details to expedite derivative cases.
 
Good News, My Spouse's I485 approved on Dec 2nd. Received email & checked online status to confirm the approval. Looks like 2-3 months wait time after finger print worked in this case.
