Previous TN visa impact on the new one ?

Hello Everyone.

Please help me with this question. Around 7 yrs back, I was on TN visa for Scientific Tech. I worked on it for 1 year and came to Canada. Since, than I got more experience, and got my degree. I now want to apply for Computer System Analyst.

1. What problem can I face at the border for this if any ? what previous proof, can I show from this category ? I do have pay stubs from that employer.
2. Will they scrutinize me because of previous category ?
3. Which southern POE to be used, around Texas which is equipped with handling TNs.

Hello Samstar,
I am no expert in this by any means, but here is my opinion. I do not think you will have any problems getting your (new) TN as long as you have all your paperwork in order. If they ask, just explain.
If you're in Canada, you get your TN at POE in the (Canadian) airport or at the border crossing (if you drive). FWIW, Brownsville, TX does TN visas. Good luck.
