Previous Manager to L1B to L1A to GC

I hold an Indian passport. I moved to the US on L1B from UK. I was in a managerial position in London with the same company but the US job was non-managerial. Now I have a promotion offer to a managerial position here in the US. In my new position I can move from L1B to L1A. Will this move to L1A help me avoid labor certification requirement because I was in a managerial position in the UK with this same company?

Obtaining an L-1A as an international manager or executive is a huge help in an EB-1 filing.
