I have a couple of questions regarding part time graduate school work and references for a labor substitution when filing the I-140.
1)I'm having trouble getting in touch with a previous employer for my reference. I have been leaving numerous voice mails and e-mails for several weeks, but my previous supervisor does not respond. In case he does not, will a former colleague who was very familiar with my work be a sufficient substitute as a reference?
2) Will part-time graduate assistant work such as teaching and research (assuming I was applying the very same skills as required on the labor sub.) count as experience to use for the labor sub. when filing the I-140?
