Previous employer priority date portability?

Currently I am in 7 th year, I have applied for my I140 in EB2 and it is in process. My labor got approved from previous employment with priority date of Jan 2004 in EB3. Is it possible for me to get Jan 2004 priority date (previous employment) to current 140 ?

I believe yes, but you must have the first i-140 approved for more than 6 months to be able to carry the pd

I did not file for 140 in my previous employment by the time labor got approved I moved to a different one. Now I want to use the labor priority date of the previous company.

I dont think you can port the priority date unless you have filed the i-140 and have it approved for more than 6 months

Is it necessary to wait 6 months after the I-140 approval? Just curious, what's the source of this information?

I made a mistake. Once approved the pd belongs to you. No need to wait 6 months
