If there is a valid visa on the passport of X company and changed to Y company and got the new H1. If the X company cancels or revokes the H1, is it necessary to get the visa stamping of the new company even if there is still lot of time for the expiration of the previous company's visa?

Thanks,
Raaj

No, an H1 visa once issued remains valid until it's expiration provided you have a valid approved I-797 for H1. It does not matter if the visa stamp has the name of a previous employer. Nor does it matter if that previous employer cancelled your H1.
Visas can be cancelled only by a consular official OR an immigration officer at port of entry.

Thanks NKM. But you say H1 visa once issued remains valid until it's expiration provided you have a valid approved I-797 for H1. Does it mean that the approved I-797 is of New company?
Thanks again for your valuable info.
