Prevailing Wage vs Offered Salary

HI

I'm planning to apply for labor under PERM and i've a Q regarding PW.
To qualify for EB2, other than satisfying the job requirements to qualify, does the Offered/Offering Salary be the equal to or more than Prevailing Wage? My company is showing offered salary as 55k and i'm sure PW will be higher to qualify for EB2. Cud anyone plz share ur knowledge regarding this. Thanks.

this is not a big deal, prevailing wage could be higher then your current salary but it wont be a problem in your ETA 9089, as your lawyer or a person who ever is filing can write in your ETA form the same amount as a prevailing wage determined, this would be the amount that ur employer would be agree to pay after you get the green card, so go ahead and give it a shot.
