prevailing wage request processing time

Hi

As per my lawyer my prevailing wage request was filed on Dec.8th 2005 from NY.
They have not received any reply back and have faxed them my prevailing wage request twice on my request.
They have to get a response back on prevailing wage request before they can file for my Labor thru' perm.

Has anyone faced a similar situation, it has been more than a month now since the request was made.
Also of anyone knows if there is a way to track it or expedite it.

I'm in the same situation. Employer sent request for prevailing wage at end of December 2005. It's February 2nd, still waiting for reply. My H1B is until March 2007, which means I must have PERM filed by March 2006 to be eligible for 7th year H1B extention. Waiting is frustrating.
