Presidential Election Impact on GC Processing

Hi GC Gurus,

The Presidential Election is just around the corner. Will this cause a delay in the LC processing? I'm not much worried about I-140/I-485 at this point of time. Do you have any article/history which shows the impact of Presidential Elections on LC Processing?

Do u think people accessing this thread will have insider information
about delays and processings? what kind of question is this?

Did u read my message completely? I wasn't asking for any Insider information. I was just hoping someone knew about GC Processing during the 2000 elections (History). I'm not sure what compled you to post a unneccessary reply in this thread. What kind of Response is this?
 
I do not think it will cause any significant delay in processing. Delay may be because of holiday season but not the election.

Even if some resources(form USCIS) are allocated to election. It will be for 2 to 3 days, not more then that.

insider information meaning..how r people supposed to know if elections will cause a delay?..anyway like Bodhal Singh says above it elections should
not interfere with any immigration processes. Infact this country
dosen't even have a holiday on election day like many other countries.
