Presently on TN and changing employer with new TN

I am presently on TN with expiry in 2012 and have accepted an offer with a new employer. The new employer has filed for my TN1(premium processing), with a start date in April, 2011. Will the TN1 with my current employer automatically terminate once the new TN1 is approved ?

If not am I allowed to work extra 1-week beyond the new TN1 start date with my current employer.

-- No, your first TN is still valid. (You will have two valid TNs)

-- You are allowed to work for your current employer as long as the TN status for that employer is valid.
 
Thanks. One minor clarification.

Am I still O.K if the new and current roles are full time positions and having two TN1s at the same time?
