Hi
I will be doing green card application without lawyer and need some basic help from those who successfully applied and got green card through asylum.
In December 2014 it will be one year from the date asylum was granted at. So I need to prepare application.
I read some forum topics already but didn't receive complete answer on my questions so I am opening new thread.
So I need to know
1. How can I submit country information that it is even worse than when I was granted asylum. So basically more political violence and persecution happened in my country since I received asylum. There was no government change and even further US embassy made more statements that confirms political persecution is still in place. How can I document and submit it so green card officer can be sure that there is no fundamental change in country of origin?
2. Taxes. I didn't have much work since I was approved asylum, but I have some paystabs which I can submit along with my application. So is it required, how it is requested how much taxes I have paid?
what are procedures when you go for interview, are you tested in knowledge of English language?
What can support your application. Is it good to mention that you are blood donor and actively donating blood to US hospitals. Is it supportive stuff or doesn't worth mentioning it at all.
I mean how standard green card interview is and are there more individualized attitude where you can mention good things you do here
))
thanks
