Premium Processing or Not???

I filed EB2-NIW in April-2007 at NSC and its Pending.

I am very confident about my case because of Ph.D. from USA, multiple papers, grants, reviews, 11 recos from all over USA describing the critical nature of my work regarding a major health issue in USA, Meeting abstracts, one Award. I work on Cancer and my lawyer did a great job of highlighting everything in the cover letter.

I filed I-485 this week and pending.

Once they resume (hopefully); is it worth it to upgrade to PP? Since I already filed I-485, will there be any advantage for me? Its taking about 8-10 months at NSC for adjudicating these cases.

Gurus, please advice if upgrading to PP a good idea?

NIW is NOT eligible for PP......at least for now. Yeah, it really sucks. However, given the unusually high % of RFE/denial on EB-1EA PP cases compared to regular EB-1EA cases at the end of last year and earlier this year, I am not so sure it is a good choice, even though you are very confident - particularly for cases end up in the notorious NSC....
