When are they going to have another AILA meeting? Any idie when they will start premium processing for I-140.

I thought by the end of Sep\'2003 they have to acheive "6 month" processing time standard for all applications, and acheive "backlog elimination". What happened to all those promises they made?? I am still hoping for a miracle...

I-140 premium processing.....

from the facts that I heard like in Texas Service center they are approving I-140 premium processing in 30 days and less than 25 days at CSC which is a lot of improvement against the regular 6 months processsing.

AILA has not posted anything official regarding I-140 Premium Processing

I don\'t know where lighthouse got the information he posted. The one statement that I read from AILA was very vague and said sometime this spring and that has been turned into "definitely in April" and now "it\'s being done".

CSC

James, How much it is taking for I-140 cases in CSC. Can you give more light to the last sentence you made. Thanks Much.

I saw that too...

In WWW.Shusterman.com web site it has the information lighthouse posted. Take a look. I am waiting for latest processing times to be released.

Thanks.

Ok, I see where the misunderstanding came from

There were NORMAL processing cases, they were not filed as Premium Processing since PP does not exist for the I-140 at this time. Also remember, these are 2 cases (I wonder how many I-140 cases Carl Shusterman has running right now in his office, lots I\'m sure). It\'s good news that the processing times are coming down and I agree that they are but approvals in less than 30 days are still the exception rather than the norm.

This is not Premium Processing though.

About I-140 processing times

Jim - the processing times at the four service centers is so different that they have to transfer the backlogged cases from TSC to VSC - which I am thinking is causing a quite longer delay for the VSC filed cases...

Is there any official statement on how many cases were being transferred.
