Hi, My long due RIR finaly got approved. now the question is whether should I get the premium process or now. of course I prefer the premium, but my company paralegal strongly agaist it saying the process is already very fast and no benefit for the premium what so ever.

Should I pay it myself? I am doing concurent filing with 485.

Icexpress,
I am in a similar situation as yours - lc with pd dec03 just approved. Planning on proceeding with non-premium. Since i dont think the dates will move forward that fast. I certainly hope that the dates move forward asap, and in that case always have the option to convert to premium.

Actually, my priority date is current. But the paralegal thinks that I can get 140 approved very soon, maybe less than a month even using the regular filing without premium, which I have doubt.

Thats correct. Sorry i missed that you are concurrently filing 485.

Actually the processing is pretty fast. Check this "http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/i140-graph/"

Question: If you are able to file 485, then does 140 approval speed up the 485 processing?

Well, the graphic you see including PP also, so if you get rid of the PPs, the rest look longer

I don't think so.

I140 pp

Hi LCexpress,

I would always prefer premium processing.... for H1 ext or I140... as over period of time I have observed.... PP has less possibility of query.

Your statement abt trackit.com is partially wrong.

if u see the graph of I140 clearance, they are not included PP and RFE cases.

"""""
All averages displayed are for non-premium, non-RFE cases only

"""""

My case came out in 11 days. By the way did u make sure abt the columns in ETA 750 (14 and 15) well suited to you?

tks

Actually that graph is excluding PP and RFE cases. So if approved 140 does not impact your 485 processing, then why waste $1000. Especially since the non-premium is so fast. And i dont think doing premium means less rish of RFE.

Do little research before I140

Hi

ETA 750 is the lobor petition application, if your LC is regular permenant Labor application.
If your LC is PERM, its diff application form.

tks

I-140 Premium processing

My RIR EB2 labor got cleared. Now I don't know whether to file I-140 in premium or regular.Out of my 5 years of previous job experience,I don't have experience letter for 1 year in company letter head.
Instead I have a letter from a ex-collegue of mine, who worked with me in that previous company.

So with this situation,Can I go ahed and file I-140 in premium processing?
It's very urgent. Can somebody pls help me regarding this.

Thanks.

I am in a similar dilemma. My LC pending for over 4 years just got approved. The attorney is getting ready to file 140 and 485. I am wondering if I should file 140 in premium but ppl tell me that 140 is getting approved fast anyways. Is there any tracker where I can check the speed of 140 filed from CA?

same situation

got my RIR labor approved , but PD april2004 so going to file regular 140, am EB2 ,any predictions when can 2004 dates become current for eb2

question?

can you file I-485 even though I-140 still pending?

how guarantee the premium processing for I-140 will be approve within 15 days?

According to my lawyer, you can file 485 once PD becomes current even though 140 is pending provided law doesn't change.

I'm going for PP (paying from my own pocket), even though my paralegal suggests there's no need. I guess I just want to get over with this :)

IMO processing centers are just holding up the applications in order to get extra $1000, and I don't want to get stuck in the tracking threads once again.
