Pregnant and Moving to canada

Finally after 12 months of searching I found a nice job in Canada. The issue is my wife is 7 months pregnant. I know there is a 90 day waiting period in Ontario to get health insurance. What are my options t deal with this in Canada? Anyone has experience paying these costs out of pocket? Is there any help available?
 
What province did you get the job offer in ? Some provinces offer immediate health Coverage but Ontario doesnt.

The child will be covered from day 1 for Pediatric care, that is not a problem.

For the pregancny itself I would suggest you write to the Health authoritirs in the city/province you will relocate to for advice. Seeing how "people friendly" and "humanitarian" Canada is im sure there will be some alternative.
