Pregnant and Medical RFE. Please Help!!!

Hello all,

Please advice asap. My wife got a medical RFE but she is currently pregnant.

I know there might be some restrictions on getting some shots while being pregnant. Any one out there aware of consequences, please advice.

Options

INS doctor totally waived all the vaccinations. Her case got approved without medical RFE.


Look for form i-693 (Medical Exam) carefully. it is downloadable from INS website. Doctor has the option to waive vaccinations in certain cases. He has to check "Administered vaccines", "To be taken Later" and "Waived" in the vaccination column ( I do not remember specific wordings but it is similar to that).

However my friends wife in similar case got medical RFE. Looks like doctor wrote in the form that she has to come back and take the vaccination !!

There is another option .. worst case you can ask INS additional time to reply to RFE, once your wife delivers she can go and take vaccines and reply to RFE.
