atmost you may get a RFE
The world will not stop if you don't complete the medical tests(do the ones which are absolutely safe for her and baby) for your wife in applying for I-485, atmost you will get an RFE for her asking to resubmit the medicals, Again it is your call what is your priority GC or the other...
