For those of you interested in playing this gamble month after month here is some information you might have missed from July 06 Bulletin.

F. IMMIGRANT VISA AVAILABILITY DURING THE REMAINDER OF FY-2006

Readers are reminded that during the summer months, with immigrant visa number use approaching the annual limits for the year, the supply of numbers remaining for use is limited. Thus, cut-off date advances could slow or stop, and monthly allocations decrease. Additional retrogression of cut-off dates such as those experienced for July are possible. Readers should not assume visa availability until the cut-off dates are announced.

Thought of saving some time of you guys.

DOS is highly unpredictable. Dont believe what they say.... believe the number and date that comes in the bulletin.
It will move forward for all categories in August.

Good Luck.

It will move or Unavailable for all categories. Its kind of disappoint you if you expect movement. Not going to look any bulletin until october.

take it easy.....

Man, look at how the remarks at the bottom of the visa bulletin have been playing out so far. It is the most accurate barometer, a predictable thing. When they said, it is going to slow down, they meant it. Since I started reading those remarks in the last two years, it has been fulfilled like a prophecy.

We all can only hope for good. No logic is gonna work when you talk about DOS.
Lets see and wait for August bulletin which will clear up some more things and hopefully it will advance many folds within the next few monhts.

Good Luck to all.

Dryheat did not get it

Hey Dryheat,
You did not understand my point.
I wanted to say all predictions for this year will be a waste since USCIS already announced their plan this month.
Your advice to me should be directed somewhere else.

PS: Please read the postings completely, understand and then reply

jolly_fellow.....dont pay attention to bad remarks..........we are all frustrated.....and we will just f***k the bearer of a bad news.......because some of us do not want to hear a bad thing.....because we beleive in optimistic thinking.....because many of us just dream that next month we will be current....

It is good to be optimistic which we all are. otherwise we would have left the country and gone somewhere else.
But we need to be realistic too. When DHS is saying something we should listen instead of daydreaming. That is the point I wanted to make.
In this case the bearer of bad news is USCIS. go do whatever you want with them. :)
