I called NSC today about my I485 pending case and officer asked all the details about my case and zipcode.
I am really wondering why do they need zipcode ???
My Employer's office is located in IL, Chicago and I have been working in Newyork state at client place for last two years. We applied GC through IL, Chicago office.
I am guessing, they will transfer my case to local office depending on zipcode ?? am I correct ??
Since I didn't have many details about my I485 case in hand at that time, I told them that I would call them later.
So, what do you suggest about the zipcode, what should I tell them when I call next time? Newyork zipcode or IL zipcode ??
Is it good or bad thing to move the case to local office. Since I am in Vermont region and my case was filed in Nebraska.
What are the precaustions I need to take when I call Service Center ???
Is it bad idea to call them more than once ?? Will that jeoperdize the case ??
