Hi, so my question is, Ive been hearing so many f u c k up situation within these interviewers at ins and my question is can you take in a recorder with you and record these people, so that if they step out of bounds you have some kind of documentation and take them to court. Any input?????? what are you rights to protect yourself and your families regardless of race creed and color.

No you canNOT bring in a Recorder or any other picture or audio device with you. They will make you put your phone back in the car if it has a Camera in it, they will look through your purse and pockets.

there are signs posted clearly stating that no audiovisual recording devices are allowed inside the building. you are asked to empty out your pockets and bags, briefcases, purses, etc. are run under an x-ray machine. if they find anything such as a camera phone, tape recorder and such they will ask you to leave it in your car.

You must go through a screening machine same as the airports and somebody will check you up. You are entering federal property...other rules apply and in worst problems you can get into.

Just check the threads about interview and interview experiences including the worst ones so you can verify what is within the normal procedure. Some people get mad when the interviewer ask what is the name of their in laws or details about their house...but that is normal procedure, if you check all those stuff before hand you can get an idea what might happen and what is out of the book. Of course you will find good and nice officers as nasty and hostile ones. You must be calm all the way.

Good luck,
