pre approved substitute labor

if the rate is good and u have a employer with good anual revenue, then PERM is the way, until or unless u find a Approved EB2 with good priority dates
 
I am working through a consulting company, revenue I believe is good. After long persuasion and breaking promise my labour was applied through PERM (EB2). But this was done only in 2006. The priority date now is in 2003 Jan. I may have to wait atleast 3 more years for the priority date to be current. If I get a 2002/2003 applied labor, would't it be worth it?
