PR questions

Hi AnilS/Inders99,

I have a few questions regarding Canadian PR. can you please clarify..
for how long is a permanent residence provided for? i heard that when you hold a PR you have to be in canada for 180 days a year for your PR to be valid? is this correct? normally how many years after your receiving your PR do you apply for a citizenship? how easy is to get one? Can you please also provide some info regarding the TN visa? is it only for canadian citizens or for PRs also? in what way is it different than a h1b? etc.,

I know that the questions above are one too many... sorry about that :).. would be really glad if you could take the time to answer...Thanks a lot for the remarkable job you guys are doing on this thread....
