PR papers on Passport while re-entering the US ??

I know i have asked this before but just to re-confirm....

While re-entering the US (after landing in Canada), while showing my passport to the INS officer, should i remove my PR landed immigrant paper ? Was anyone asked questions about why they were permamnent residents of Canada, and that why were they on an H1 also ?

No Qs are asked about PR

As per my experiance the Qs are:
1) how many days in canada
2) where do you work
3) anything to declare
US immigration does not care if you got can pr or not, being on H1 helps.
