PR Card -- Why Status on CIC Web site says I received it?

Hi! Guys:

I don't whether this is wrong update on my PR card application or not but would apreciate if somebody has same situation.

On e-client application status for my PR Card application it shows as follows:

Permanent Resident Card

We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 25, 2003.

We started processing your application on September 09, 2003.

Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on September 09, 2003. You will be notified by mail within four weeks and invited to pick up your card at the CIC office closest to you.

You have received your permanent resident card on April 06, 2004.

Now I just talked to my friend on whose address he received a letter that says my last appointment to pick up PR card is April 27, 2004.

I am in US after applying for PR card and never picked up from CIC. Is that they updated information wrong on the web site or somebody else could have picked up or whether they sent in mail?

Would appreciate your comments/advise/experience.
